What Are Heart Arrhythmias?

If your heart pattern is irregular or out of rhythm, you may have a heart arrhythmia. However, to be specific, you must have our doctor test you. 

Symptoms of an Irregular Heart

You may have arrhythmia if you feel any of the following is happening to your heart pattern. We need to listen and check your heart and order standard tests if you experience:

  • A fluttering feeling in your chest

The type of arrhythmia you have depends on where it occurs within the heart. There are six types.

  • Premature atrial contractions
  • Atrial flutter
  • Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia
  • Accessory pathway tachycardias
  • Atrial fibrillation
  • AV nodal reentrant tachycardia
